I didn't sing until I was 30. I experienced excruciating terror when trying to express myself in the presence of others. Despite being competent and confident in many areas of my life, it took me years of painful struggle to reclaim my own voice.
With the gift of hindsight, I now know what does and what doesn't support this tender opening.
